Wash and soak dal for the hour

Pressure cook dal added salt keep aside till comes room temperature

Heat oil in pan add garlic saute it add onion saute it till light golden in colour add tomatoes and dry spices red chilli powder turmeric and salt mix it and cook till tomatoes cook

Mix tadka in dal and boil it properly

Serve with khoba roti salad
