Take a thick bottom pan and add milk let it boil till it becones thick. Keep stirring in between so that milk will not stick to the bottom and will not come out.

After 45 min or so milk will start becoming thick. Take a bowl and mix khoya with 2-3 tbs milk, mix till it completely dissolved. Add this mixture in the milk.

Add sugar as per taste, add dry fruits powder and cardamom and nutmeg powder mix well the milk will become thick quickly after adding khoya.

Tip: Cool the basundi and keep it in the fridge for 5-6 hours to becomes thick. A layer of cream will form and basundi will become thick and more tasty.

Basundi is ready to serve hot or cold, garnish it with pista.Its delicious with Puri as well.
