Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1/2 cupMoong Dal shocked over night
  • 1Green chilli finely chopped
  • 1/2 inchginger finely chopped
  • 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbspfinally chopped onion
  • Salt as pet taste
  • 1/2 tbspeno power
  • As neededWater
  • 1 tbsTurmeric power
  • For tarka
  • 1 tspOil
  • 1/2Mustard seeds
  • 1/2urad daal
  • As needed curry leaves finally chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and soak dal overnight.
    Rinse well and grind with ginger and green chilli.

  2. 2

    For Tarka
    Heat Oil and add mustard seeds, haldi power and urad dal,cook till Urad dal turns golden.Add chopped curry leaves. Add tarka to ground dal

  3. 3

    Add chopped onion and coriander leaves.Add salt as neeeded
    Heat Appe pan and put few drops of oil in each section.

  4. 4

    Add Eno to the batter and immediately put a small amount into the Appe pan.Cover and cook on both sides till golden.Serve with peanut chatani
