Steps

Wash and Soak chana for 2-3 hours. Get it in pressure cooker with 3 washed potatoes. Cook untill done.

After pressure is released and cooker is cooled down Cut potatoes into big pieces. Take out chanas.

Chop onions and tomatoes in manual chopper.

Heat oil on a pan. Add asafoetida and chopped onions and saute well until golden brown. Now add chopped tomatoes. Add red chilli garlic paste. Mix well.

Saute until oil separates. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well.

Add potatoes and chana. Add 1 glass of water. Add coriander and let it simmer. Add lemon juice too.

Once grevy becomes thick serve hot with chapati aur tandoori. Put green chilli slices on top while serving.
