White Sauce Macaroni

Heat a saucepan and add butter.

When the butter melts and starts to bubble, then add all purpose flour.

Keep on stirring so that no lumps are formed and sauté the flour till you get a nice cooked aroma from the flour and a pale golden colour.

Pour 1 cup chilled milk with one hand and stir the sauce mixture with the other.

Do stir frequently while the milk warms and heats up.

On a low flame, add mayonnaise and stir the sauce till it thickens.

Switch off the flame and keep the saucepan down and add the seasonings.

Boil 4 cups water in a pan.

When the water comes to a boil, add 1 cup macaroni pasta.

Add salt and oil and cook the pasta on a medium to high flame.

When the pasta gets done, switch off the flame and strain the pasta.

In another pan heat 1 tbsp butter.

Add chopped veggies, salt and red chilli sauce.

Cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes.

Then add them to the white sauce.

Add boiled pasta and herbs and mix all well.

Serve white sauce pasta garnished with some herbs.
