Ingredients

  1. 1 gallonmilk (4 or 5 liters, depending on your preference)
  2. For the classic and original sugar frosting, see step 6
  3. 300 gramspowdered sugar
  4. 300 gramsvegetable shortening

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

I cut them to my preference. First, I cut a square and shaped it into a triangle, then made small triangles all around. I use it to make lines on cakes.

  2. 2

I cut the ladle from the handle of the gallon. I cut a rectangle and trimmed the edges that I didn't need until I shaped it. I use it to scoop flour or sugar.

  3. 3

This one is easier because you cut a square and shape it into a half-circle, trimming the corners by 1 cm. I use this to smooth the cake.

  4. 4

Here are photos of a cake I made with my utensils.

  5. 5

The lines are from the triangle.

  6. 6

For the sugar frosting... in the mixer bowl, add the vegetable shortening and beat for a few minutes until it becomes fluffy. Then, use a spatula to scrape off the excess shortening stuck to the sides of the bowl.

  7. 7

Next, gradually add the powdered sugar while beating until you achieve a firm, very white consistency, ready for decorating your cake.
