Wash and soak urad daal and rice minimum 5hours add methi dana to urad dal. Grind both daal and rice in smooth paste keep overnight for fermentation u can add pinch of soda or baking powder also. Add salt in batter in morning. Boil water coat oil to idli pan put batter in pan and put pan in boiling water utensil and close thr lid. Check after five mint remove the pan and let it cool then remove idli from pan it will come out smoothly.

Serve with groundnut chutney or coconut chutney and sambhar...
