In a mixing bowl, add gram flour, curds, salt, turmeric, oil, sugar, ginger, lemon juice & water. Mix it well and just before pouring the batter into the mould add baking soda or eno fruit salt to it and mix well.

In this recipe, we are making dhokla in idli maker to get the shape of idli for our usual dhokla.

Heat the steamer well & pour the batter into the idli maker moulds and let it steam cook for 7-10 minutes.

Meanwhile prepare the tempering or tadka. For that heat a pan, add oil to it along with mustard seeds and curry leaves.

Add slit green chillies, salt and sugar to it. Add some lemon juice and coriander leaves & switch off the flame.
Pour this tadka over the prepared idli dhoklas and serve. :)
