Ingredients

25 minutes
5 servings
  • 1 cupsemolina (sooji)
  • 1/2 cupboiled potato
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 1/2 tspginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tspCoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspcumin powder
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tsporegano
  • 1 tspchilli flakes
  • As neededOil for frying Cutlets
  • As neededOnion rings for garnishing

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly, in a kadai take 1/2 cup water, 1 tsp oil, ginger-garlic paste, salt, oregano, chilli flakes stir and boil for 2-3 minutes add sooji stirring continuously, when mixture thicken flame off.

  2. 2

    Transfer the cooked sooji in a bowl and cool completely add boiled mashed potatoes. Add red chilli powder, Coriander powder mix well.

  3. 3

    Make round shape cutlets. Heat oil in a pan deep fry, shallow fry cutlets till turn golden crispy.

  4. 4

    Drain over kitchen paper to remove excess oil.

  5. 5

    Granish with onion rings, Serve with green chutney and tomato sauce.
