Healthy Date Maamoul Yummy❤️

We can enjoy everything we like, but in a healthy way. Just because it's healthy doesn't mean we should eat large amounts, as that could still lead to weight gain.

Steps
- 1
Mix the oat flour, salt, and baking powder with the egg until well combined.
- 2
Add the honey and oil, and mix well.
- 3
Continue mixing until a cohesive dough forms.
- 4
Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- 5
The dough will not be as firm as regular white flour dough because oats have less gluten; it will be more crumbly.
- 6
Take a piece of dough and flatten it with your hands (no rolling pin needed). Place a finger-sized piece of date filling in the center, then wrap the dough around the filling and shape it into a square.
- 7
Decorate the top with a fork or a maamoul mold, then cut into appropriate pieces.
- 8
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes. You can turn on the broiler for a golden top if desired.
- 9
Your maamoul is ready to enjoy!
