Steps

Peel the cassava carefully and cut it to remove the inner stem. Wash it well and let it dry a bit. Assemble other ingredients.

Carefully grate your cassava and then add in the sugar, salt and butter and mix very well. Lastly, beat the egg and add it to the other ingredients and mix well to combine.

Scoop heaped tablespoons of the mixture and form into small patties as shown. (If your mixture is too wet or if you did not let your cassava dry well, add 2-3 tablespoons of flour)

Fry the patties over medium high heat until golden brown on both sides.

Serve with extra salt sprinkled. Enjoy!
