Ingredients

45 Minutes
  • 1 CupWheat
  • 1 CupSemolina
  • 1 CupPowdered Sugar
  • 1/2 CupUnsalted Butter
  • 1 tspCardamom Powder
  • 1/4 CupDryfruits
  • 1 CupWarm Milk
  • As required Ghee/Oil-For Deep Frying

Steps

45 Minutes
  1. 1

    Add powdered sugar into warm milk and stir well to get the mixture combined very well.

  2. 2

    Let it cool down completely.

  3. 3

    In another large bowl, add semolina, wheat flour, dry fruits, cardamom powder and 1/2 cup butter. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Once everything is combined, add warm milk slowly and make a smooth, semi-thick dough.

  5. 5

    Make lemon size balls out of the mixture and flatten them with palm.

  6. 6

    Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.

  7. 7

    Deep fry the biscuits till golden brown.

  8. 8

    Store in an airtight container once cooled.

  9. 9

    These biscuits are soft when they are hot but turns crunchy once they cool down.
