In a pan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Heat on the stove, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add saffron strands and cardamom pod, then let it boil. Once it reaches a one-string consistency, turn off the heat and let the syrup cool.

In another pan, heat 2 1/2 cups milk. Add 1 teaspoon ghee and stir occasionally. Mix 1 cup milk powder with 1/2 cup milk, then add this mixture to the hot milk, stirring continuously. When the milk thickens, add 1/4 cup sugar and cardamom powder. Cook for a few more minutes, then turn off the heat and let the rabri cool.

Cut the bread slices into your desired shape (for example, heart shapes). Heat ghee in a pan and shallow fry the bread pieces on both sides until golden brown.

Once the bread cools slightly, dip each piece in the sugar syrup for 1 minute. Place the soaked bread on a serving plate, pour rabri over the top, and garnish with chopped pistachios and tutti frutti before serving.
