Bitterguord Curry | Paavakkai Curry

Cut onion, tomato and bitterguord into small pieces.

Heat kadai and pour oil. Once oil is heated add mustard seeds.

First add chopped onion and fry it. Then add sliced tomatoes to the kadai add fry it.

Now add bitter gourd pieces.

Add salt and turmeric powder to it.

Pour little water in kadai to cook bitterguord.

Now close kadai with lid to cook bitterguord.

Allow to boil until bitterguord is cooked. Once it is cooked add red chilli powder and mix well. Cook for few minutes.

Add jaggery to reduce bitter taste and mix well.

Now it is cooked. Healthy and simple bitterguord curry is ready.
