Crack the eggs into a cup. Add garlic powder, black pepper, and oregano to taste. Add the milk and salt. Beat with a whisk or fork until well mixed and frothy.

Heat a skillet with the butter. Grate the garlic over the pan and sauté for a few seconds. Pour in the eggs, sprinkle the cheese on top, and cook for about 2 minutes over medium-low heat. Use a spatula to check if the bottom is golden; when it is, lift and flip the omelette. If it breaks, just reshape it—once it sets, it will look fine. Cook until fully set.
