Honestly we speaking we are dehli wale and made khandviya of besan. But this recipe is inspired from memoni friend's mom. And trust me dhokris are tastier than khandviya 😜🙈
Steps

Starting with besan katli.. in a degchi add oil and fry onion, mustard seeds and cumin for 1 min.

Then add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric and saute for 30 secs.

Now add green chillies sliced, green coriander and water.

Now wait for it to simmer🔥

Now add besan and whisk it continuously so it won't make lumps. Cook it for 1 min

Pour it in a greased steel lid and set a thin layer by pressing it with hands. Let it cool then cut in diamond or squares

Coming to gravy.. heat oil and fry onion, mustard seeds and cumin for 1 min

Now add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric, cook for 30 secs.

Now add tomato paste and bhunify till oil separates.

Add yoghurt and green chillies add cook on low flame for 5-7 mins.

Ready. Garnish with green coriander.
