Combine all ingredients for marinade in food processor/blender. Blend till smooth.

Taste, and adjust saltiness and sweetness accordingly.

Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized cubes.

Mix chicken into marinade and refrigerate for at least 6 hrs or overnight.

Soak bamboo satay sticks in water for at least 5-10mins. If possible, soak for 30mins.
- 6
Skewer chicken, and cook on bbq, or grill.
