Ingredients

45 minutes
6-8 servings
  • 500 gmsboneless chicken
  • 1 cuponion finely chopped
  • 1large potato boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cupfrozen peas optional
  • 2 tbspginger garlic green chilli paste (grind all together)
  • 1/2 tspchilli powder
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsppepper powder
  • 1/4 tspgaram masala optional
  • Handfulchopped coriander and pudhina leaves
  • 2egg whites
  • As required Bread crumbs for coating
  • As per taste Salt
  • As per taste Oil for frying

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil chicken well with salt, pepper and turmeric.

  2. 2

    Cool and mince in a mixer. Transfer to a bowl and add all the ingredients (except breadcrumbs and egg white) and mix well to form thick dough.

  3. 3

    Shape into patties and dip in egg white. Roll in bread crumbs and keep aside.

  4. 4

    Similarly do the same for all patties.

  5. 5

    Freeze the patties for 15 minutes.

  6. 6

    Deep fry in medium hot oil till golden. Serve hot with ketchup and a steaming cup of coffee.
