Steps

Place the steamer on low medium flame. Grease the steamer tin with oil.

Add besan to mixing bowl. Add salt, sugar, lemon juice and turmeric powder. Mix well.

Then add water gradually to make medium thick batter. Now add fruit salt and stir in one direction for a minute.

Pour the batter into greased tin and steam for 15 to 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes take out the plate from the steamer and let it cool down.

Then heat the oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Let them splutter. Add green chillies, curry leaves and asafoetida.

Switch off the gas.pour the tempering over the prepared dhokla. Cut into pieces and serve.
