Ingredients

20-25 minutes
2-3 people
  1. for dough
  2. 2 cupmaida/All-purpose flour
  3. 1/4 tspajwain / carom seeds
  4. 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1/4 cupoil
  6. 1/2 cupwater
  7. for stuffing
  8. 2 tspoil
  9. 1 tspjeera/cumin seeds
  10. 1/2 tspcoriander crushed
  11. 1/2 tspSaunf/fennel seeds
  12. 1ginger finely chopped
  13. 1chilli finely chopped
  14. 1/2 cuppeas
  15. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  16. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  17. 1/4 tspjeera(cumin) powder
  18. 1/2 tspaamchur(dry mango powder)
  19. 1/4 tspblack pepper powder
  20. 3/4 tspsalt
  21. 4potato boiled and mashed
  22. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  23. 2 tspcoriander leaves
  24. as neededoil for frying

Steps

20-25 minutes
  1. 1

    Knead a dough and grease with oil.

  2. 2

    Make the dough in oval shape.

  3. 3

    Divide it into 2 equal portions using a knife.

  4. 4

    Grease with water and make shape of cone.

  5. 5

    Now stuff the cone with samosa masala.

  6. 6

    Put little water on the edges and close and seal tightly.

  7. 7

    Now deep-fry the samosa on a low flame.

  8. 8

    Stir occasionally and fry the samosa on low flame for 15 minutes.

  9. 9

    Let it turn golden a little.

  10. 10

    Serve it with green chutney and tamarind chutney.
