Ingredients

  1. 1&1/2 cupsemolina / suji
  2. 1/2 cuppotato (cut in cubes)
  3. 1/2 cupcarrot (cut in cubes)
  4. 1/4 cupbeetroot (cut in cubes)
  5. 1/4 cupfrench beans (cut in cubes)
  6. 1/4 cupculliflower chopped
  7. 2green chillies sliced
  8. 1big onion sliced
  9. 1/4 tbspmustard seeds
  10. Handful Curry leaves
  11. As required Refined oil
  12. 1&1/2 cupWater
  13. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    First hit a kadhai & roast the semolina for 10-12 mins.

  2. 2

    Then again hit a pan add 1tbsp oil & saute all the vegetables.

  3. 3

    Not hit a kadhai again & add oil. After that add mustard seeds. When they started to tampered add onion & green chillies with few curry leaves. Add water when the onion become light brown.

  4. 4

    Add salt to taste in that water.

  5. 5

    After that, when the water started boiling add vegetables & roasted semolina. Mix it well.

  6. 6

    And let it cook in slow flame for 15-20 mins more. Cover it.

  7. 7

    So here Upma is done. That's it.
