Sitafal basundi is a special Gujarati dessert made with seasonal fresh custard apple. Sitafal basundi is simple to make and is in high demand at the time of festivals and other such occasions.
Steps

Bring the milk to a boil in a heavy bottomed or non-stick pan.cook on a medium flame for 10-12mins while stirring occasionally. Scraping the sides of the pan in between.

Prepare a pulp of custard apple (remove the seeds) and keep it in a refrigerator.add little milk to it.

Now add condensed milk and cardamom powder, mix well and cook for another few minutes.

When it starts to seems thick switch off the flame and let it come to a room temperature.now add pulp of the custard and stir well.

Transfer the basundi in a bowl and keep it in refrigerator to cool completely.

Garnish with almond and pistachios, serve chilled.
