Onion Jeera Pulao
Steps

Wash peel and chop onion. Grate ginger and tomato.

Wash and Soak rice for 10 minutes.

Heat cooking oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds, cloves, black pepper seeds, cinnamom, cardamom and saute for 1 minute. Add onion and saute till onions turned transculent.

Add grated ginger and tomato paste and cook till oil leaves the sides of pressure cooker. Add salt and red chilli powder. Saute for 1 minute. Add water. Place the lid and cook till 2 whistles. Switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically.

Open the lid.

Serve onion Jeera pulav with salad and jeera.
