Soak green gram and rice in water for an hour. Rice is optional. If you want crispy dosa add rice otherwise skip the rice.

After 1 hour, drain it and grind it in a wet grinder or mixer. Add red chilies and salt while grinding.

To the ground batter, add chopped onion, ginger, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Mix it well.

Heat tawa. Take a ladle full of batter and spread it on tawa. Sprinkle oil. Flip it & cook other side. Pesarattu is ready.
