Herbal Tea Pound Cake Herbal Tea Pound Cake
I had some sweet flavoured tea, so I added to a pound cake batter. It took on a wonderful fragrance and tasted delicious, so I uploaded the recipe. This time, I used blueberry flavoured tea. Other flavours are nice and fragrant too - try apple, strawberry, peach, or orange.Make sure you bring the egg to room temperature before using. If it's cold, it won't mix well with the butter and will separate. If you leave the pound cake to rest a few days, it will be even tastier. It will be particularly moist if you wrap it in plastic wrap and leave it for 2 - 3 days.If you don't have flavoured tea, use a little more sugar. Recipe by Puru berry cookpad.japan -
Cold-Brewed Tea Cold-Brewed Tea
Yes! The answer to your question, when there is cold-brewed coffee, there is also cold-brewed tea. Very much like cold brewing coffee, the process reduces the tannins from releasing into your tea. In other words, less bitterness and astringent flavor comparing to when brewing coffee or tea hot.I made 2 separate cold-brewed tea: a combination of green tea, lemon and blueberries, green tea and oranges. You can use red tea, earl grey, or a combination of different types of tea. As for the fruits, I would recommend citrus and berries. I am not sure about apples, pears, or stone fruits tho. But I am sure they are worth exploring and experimenting with.If you are intrigued, you can also add in some spices to your preference as well. Cinnamon, ginger, allspice, etc. The possibilities are endless. This just amps up a whole new level of tea-drinking experience! I really hope you will give this recipe a try and start cold brewing. Cheers! Daniel Lim -

How to Brew Green Tea How to Brew Green Tea
I actually used to be really bad at brewing tea. It was usually too strong or too bitter, but I learned how to brew tea properly at the store where I work, and it was a revelation!!This is how they do it at the restaurant where I work. If you are from a tea growing area, or you have studied tea ceremony procedures, you may think it's blasphemous! Please forgive me. But the tea that is brewed this way has a beautiful color, and is delicious and and not bitter at all. Plus, it doesn't get too diluted even if you add ice. Recipe by Tomonchicchi cookpad.japan -
