Jowar lilva vada

Crush tuvar dana or lilva in mixer grinder coarsly. Crush green chillies along with ginger and garlic and make paste.

In a mixing bowl take jowar flour. Add oil and mix well. Add salt, crushed tuvar dana, Chili garlic ginger paste, sesame seeds and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well. Add curd and sodabicarb and mix well. Add little water if needed and prepare soft dough like form.

Prepare equal size balls from it and flatten them slightly with palm. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on them and press them gently. Steam for 20 minutes in steamer on medium flame

Then deep fry in hot oil till golden brown. Tempting jowar lilva vada is ready to serve. Serve with green chutney and date tamarind chutney.
