Marinate the chicken by adding curd, half ginger garlic paste,garam masala, salt,chilli powder,

Turmeric powder n lemon juice and set aside for and hour.

Wash rice n soak it for 30 mins.

Heat oiling a cooker n add all the whole spices mentioned above.

Now add thinly sliced onions n fry till light brown.

Add marinated chicken & saute it for few mins, now add tomatoes n the remaining spices in it let it cook till chicken is completely cooked add chopped mint.

Mix well n spread it evenly in a single layer.

Layer cooked n drained rice over the chicken add water n 1tbsp of ghee on it n add 2 tbsp of chopped mint in it cover n let it cook on slow flame.

Open the lid gently fluff up with a fork serve with raita.
