Yellow Buttercream
I wanted to make a cake for my niece's birthday, but I forgot to buy buttercream. So, I used what I had at home. I found a recipe for yellow buttercream, tried it, and it worked! 😊 But for a better taste, it's preferable to use white butter or unsalted butter, or just buy instant buttercream. 😁😅 Using yellow butter makes the buttercream a bit salty. 😅 However, it's very helpful for making a quick cake. 😁

Prepare the ingredients.

Put the butter in a bowl, then mix on high speed until the butter is fluffy. I mixed for 10 minutes.

Add the sifted sugar and milk, then mix again until smooth. I used medium speed.

Add the sweetened condensed milk, then mix again until smooth.

And it's done! 😊 Just apply it to the cake you want to decorate. You can add food coloring.

Add food coloring as needed for decorating. I used white for the base cover, then decorated with colored buttercream.

I used this buttercream to decorate the cake as shown below. ⬇️

This is the result of decorating a black forest cake. Imagination was key because I was suddenly asked to help decorate a cake. 😅 Since there wasn't much buttercream, I was helped by DCC (Dark Cooking Chocolate) that was sliced/grated. 😁😊
