Ingredients

30 minutes
  1. 4Rui fish Cutting pieces
  2. 2 tablespoonMustard seeds paste
  3. 3 piecesGreen chilli
  4. 3 tablespoonTurmeric powder
  5. 1/2 tablespoonRed chilli powder
  6. 1 tablespoonTamarind paste
  7. 1/2 tablespoonSugar
  8. 1 teaspoonPanch Phoron(kalo jeera,raduni, mustard seeds,jeera,saunf)
  9. 1 tablespoonSalt
  10. 8 tablespoonMustard oil

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat a pan add mustard oil fry fish each side for 5 to 6 mints.Then add pachphoron, mustard seeds paste turmeric powder.

    Add in fried fish pieces and tamarind paste,sugar,salt and red chilli powder.Cover the pan and let it simmer for 10to 15 minutes at medium low flame.

    When the entire gravy turns some what deep in colour add green chillies.

    Cover the pan 2 minutes

    Add in mustard oil at last when the gravy semi dry. serve it with white rice.
