Tomato Soup
Steps

Firstly, in a pan heat butter. Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Mix well.

Saute for a minute or till tomatoes change colour.

Add 1/2 cup water, cover and boil for 10 minutes.

Boil till tomatoes turn soft and mushy. Add tomato ketchup and mix well. Cool the mixture.

Blend to smooth paste without adding any water. Sieve the tomato paste discarding the residue. Add 1/2 cup water or more adjusting consistency.

Now heat ghee in a pan add cumin seeds and let them sizzle. Now add the tomato soup and boil for 1-2 minutes.

Now add cornflour in a small bowl. Add 2tbsp water and mix it well. Pour this mixture into soup and mix well.

Add sugar,pepper and salt. Mix well making sure all the spices are combined well.

Turn off the flame. Garnish with cream/malai and serve hot.
