Simple Apple Pie With Frozen Pie Crust

My home always has frozen pie crusts on standby in the freezer.
My relatives gave us a bunch of apples and I got tired of eating them raw, so I decided to make this recipe. The flavor of these apples are different from the raw apples.
So I decided to make homemade apple pie.
If you thaw the frozen pie sheet and it becomes too soft, you can put it in the refrigerator to cool.
You can add as much cinnamon as you want, or not add any at all.
It's also really good if you top it with vanilla ice cream while it's really, really hot. Recipe by Korokorokorone

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Thaw the frozen puff pastry. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel and slice the apples into wedges.
- 2
Add the apples, granulated sugar, and lemon juice to a saucepan and simmer until transparent. Sprinkle in the cinnamon powder, mix, and let cool.
- 3
Crush the biscuits. Stretch the puff pastry into the pie dish and place the crushed biscuits on top.
- 4
Arrange the cooled apples inside.
- 5
Cut another sheet of puff pastry into vertical strips and decorate the pie. Weave the strips over and under, over and under. Using a fork or knife to make patterns around the edges is also a good idea.
- 6
Brush the crust with a beaten egg yolk and bake in the oven at 200°C for 30 minutes.
- 7
When it has finished baking, you can spread on some apricot jam as a finishing touch, and it's complete Slice the pie into whatever sized pieces you like and enjoy.

I used the pie crust recipe that I always make for these apple pies.・These are moderately sweet. Adjust the amount of sugar to your taste.・ Don't put in too much filling! It will leak while baking.・ In Step 2, don't over knead the dough! If you mix too much, it will harden and will be difficult to roll out thinly. Recipe by Fushicche cookpad.japan -

Easy Apple Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry Easy Apple Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry
My mother taught me this recipe. This is perfect when you have leftover apples or when you want to make an easy snack.Make sure you preheat the oven to 200℃/400°F! Changing the oven temperature halfway through is also key! This filling makes a light apple pie. If you want to make an apple pie with plenty of filling, increase the amount. I often hear that this pie is light on the sweetness, so if you have a sweet tooth, increase the amount of sugar to your liking.(Recipe by azura) cookpad.japan -
Easy Apple Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry Easy Apple Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry
You may have seen a recipe like this a long time ago, but this is the apple pie my mother used to make when I was a child. Now it's what I like to make for my own family.Basically, it's foolproof, since you use frozen puff pastry. If I were to suggest anything, it would be to make sure the apple filling isn't watery, and not to put too much in or it will leak out. If it leaks out, it will burn and the pastry won't puff.
