Passionfruit (or Mango) Cheese Tart

I got ahold of lots of passionfruit so I made this.
Jam takes a lot of effort to make and topping this tart with the passionfruit sauce would make it hard to transport so I decided to add a sauce to the middle of the tart.
The color became really beautiful after mixing the passion fruit with egg yolk.
The sweet sourness of the passionfruit goes exceptionally well with cream cheese!
I made the cream cheese layer as white as possible to help the color of the passionfruit stand out.
You could also use mango (fresh or tinned) to create another beautiful and delicious tart.
Or you could make the tart with just the cream cheese layer, that also tastes delicious. Recipe by Obiichan

Steps
- 1
I made this tart crust with 60 g butter, 40 g sugar, 2-3 eggs, and 120 g flour.
- 2
Bake it for 15 minutes at 180℃.
- 3
Mix together the ★ ingredients well.
- 4
Once the tart base has finished baking, pour in the ★ mixture from Step 3 and bake at 180℃ for a further 5-7 minutes.
- 5
Mix the cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, egg whites, and lemon juice in an electric mixer and pour it on top of the passionfruit mixture.
- 6
Bake the tart for a further 20 minutes at 180℃ until fluffy and it's done.
- 7
Chill it well and serve.
- 8
You can replace the passionfruit mixture with 1/2 tin of mangos (or 100-150 g fresh mango), 1 egg yolk, and 1 tablespoon sugar if you'd prefer.
