Easy Christmas Cupcake Decorations

I thought up this idea while making the tree cake from.
Wreath decorations are so Christmas-like! The matcha cheese cream is just like the one from the tree cake recipe, so you can make them both at the time time!

The instructions here are very similar to what's shown in, but this recipe uses less cream and yields cupcakes that are sweeter and moister. You can use either-or as you like. You can also just decorate store-bought cupcakes. For 10 cupcakes (6 cm [2.4 in] wide x 3 cm tall). Recipe by vegeful

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

For the cupcakes, refer to the instructions on. You can also use any other recipe that you'd like.

  2. 2

I recommend cupcakes that aren't very tall. Tie a ribbon around the center before you get started.

  3. 3

Bring the cream cheese to room temperature and then knead with a whisk. Add the lemon juice and liqueur, then dust the matcha into the mixture while mixing until smooth.

  4. 4

Keep the heavy cream in the refrigerator until just before you use it. Combine the heavy cream and sugar and whip until it forms stiff peaks. If the room is warm, suspend the bowl over ice water.

  5. 5

Add the mixture from Step 3 to the bowl from Step 4 and mix with a whisk. Be careful not to mix too much or it will become hard and crumbly.

  6. 6

Put an icing bag with the cake decorating tip already secured into a cup. Fill it with the cream, using a spatula to press it in until there are no empty spaces.

  7. 7

Squeeze out a circle of cream on top of the cupcakes and top as you like to finish.

  8. 8

  9. 9

    Holly +☆+Decorations

  10. 10

Santa + Ribbon Picks + Decoration

  11. 11

You can also make the original recipe!

  12. 12

The egg yolk doesn't vary much between medium and large so either would work. However, if you use a whole large egg, there is more white and it will make the butter separate, so be careful.

  13. 13

The tree inuses a muffin that is kind of tall, but these ones use shorter muffins.
