Typically Sago kheer is prepared during Varat or other festivals. Sago is a great source of energy , also improve digestion and promotes strong bone . Very healthy , delicious and easy to make recipe. Do try this you will surely love it.

Soak sago in 1/2cup warm milk for 30 minutes.

Now add remaining milk and saffron. Keep the flame on low. Cook till sago have plumped up and thickened. Add sugar cook for a minute. Turn off the flame.

Meanwhile heat ghee in a pan and roast chopped nuts.
Keep some nits for garnishing, remain add in kheer. - 4
Serve in a bowl and garnish with rosted nuts and saffron strands.
Enjoy.
