Crush green chillies, ginger and jeera with a little salt

Crush green peas coarsely.

In a pan heat some oil. Add green chilly, ginger and jeera paste. Add crushed peas, cilantro and salt. Saute until dry.

Add half the bread crumbs in the mashed potato. Add some salt and mix.

Make a disc of the potato and then fill it with the peas mixture. Make into round balls or any shape that you prefer.

Make a slurry with corn starch and water. Dip the pattice in this and coat with bread crumbs. You can repeat this process if you want it to be more crispy.

Deep fry in oil. Serve with mint chutney and ketchup.
