Cafe-style Banana Juice

When I was child, I used to make this when my mother wasn't watching. Now, it's listed on the menu at the cafe where I work part-time.
If you are using a frozen banana, it will be hard to blend, so mix with a spoon part way through blending.
At the coffee shop we tried serving it with liquid sugar, but we found that if the banana is ripe, it is sweet enough without sweeteners. Recipe by La Land

Steps
- 1
Roughly slice the banana. If you are making a milkshake, wrap in cling film after slicing and put in the freezer.
- 2
Put the banana, milk and ice cream in a mixer and blend until smooth. If it isn't sweet enough for you, add some sugar or honey.
- 3
Put some ice in a glass and pour the mixture on top. If you are making a milkshake, you don't need any ice.
