Tangy Apple Jam with Cream Cheese Toast 🍋🍎

I always find store-bought apple jam too sweet and full of additives, so I decided to make my own apple jam 😎 It's very simple! You only need one pot, and the ingredients are straightforward!
Cooking Instructions

Dice the apples and squeeze the lemon juice. Put them in a pot, add a little sugar, and cook on low heat.

Cook slowly to soften the apples and thicken the juice. Taste with a clean spoon and adjust the sugar if needed.

Once the jam thickens (I usually cover it and let it simmer on low heat while listening to a podcast or browsing my phone, checking occasionally), store it in a jar. Since there are no preservatives, I'm not sure how long it lasts, so I usually finish it within a week by using it as jam, mixing it with yogurt, or adding it to black tea.

If you want it cold, chill a bowl overnight. Spread cream cheese on a slice of toast, then add the jam. You can also add mint leaves for extra flavor.
