Take a thick pan and start boiling milk.

Add rice and keep stirring on medium flame for about till the mill is reduce to 1/4 of original size.

Add sugar and stir well. It will again get slim consistency.

Add chopped nuts and mix it well. The colour will be little pink of the kheer by now.

Shouldn't be too thick also. Remove from flame after 4-5 minutes.

Add saffron milk and mix it well.

Serve cold or hot as per preference. Garnish with saffron milk and almond flakes.
