Ingredients

  1. 1 cupwheet flour (atta)
  2. 1 bunchfenugreek leaves methi finely chopped
  3. as per taste salt
  4. 2 tspoil
  5. 1/2 tspcarom seeds
  6. 1/2 tspturmeic powder
  7. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1/2cumin powder
  9. As neededWater
  10. as neededGhee for toasting

    In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, salt, 2 tsp oil, finely chopped fenugreek leaves (methi) carom seeds (ajwain), turmeic powder, red chilli powder and cumin powder. Mix them well.

    Knead it to a smooth and soft dough by adding water as required. Cover it and set aside for 30 minutes.

    Heat a griddle/tawa on medium heat. Once hot, place a rolled paratha on it. Toast each side with 1/2 tsp ghee until light golden brown spots appear on both sides. Toast all the methi parathas likewise.

    Serve methi paratha hot with green chutney y tomato ketchup
