Wash and soak urad dal and idli rice for 6 hours. Grind along with soaked water and mix salt and idli rava. Mix all these things together with help of hand and keep it aside for fermentation. Then set as idli.

In winters it is very difficult to ferment.
Always try to grind urad dal with soaked water it gives nice fermentation to the batter.
