Easy Pear Compote Easy Pear Compote
I've loved pears since I was a child. They are delicious fresh, but I wanted to use them when cooking both sweet and savory dishes, so I made a compote.Since the pears will be simmered, choose pears that are on the firm side. You can serve the compote with ice cream, chop it up and put it in yogurt, or use it for hors d'oeuvres, tarts and other sweets. Recipe by Usagi no Cima. cookpad.japan -

#reststyle #goldenapronPoached Pear, the classic French dessert is such a delightfully flavorful, very elegant and impressive. It has a great balance of sweet, spice and fruity flavors, and the deep red colour turns this into a beautiful centerpiece dessert too. I have slightly modified my recipe so that it can be served to kids as well.Poached Pears make a fantastic dinner party dessert and can be prepared in advance. Peach Compote Peach Compote
I bought lots of peaches, so I wanted to use them while they were still fresh. If the peaches are ripe, you should be able to slightly reduce the simmering time; feel free to make adjustments as you like.If the skin has a deep colour, simmering the peaches with their skins gives the compote a beautiful pink colour (when using white wine).I recommend serving these the following day. Peach Compote Peach Compote
I used some bruised peaches to make compote. You can eat it plain, but I also recommend using it to make tarts or jelly. Here are the peach compote pieces with yogurt in a different dessert recipe.-In Step 2, if your peaches are soft, be careful not to simmer them for too long.-If you're making a lot at once, you can boil the peaches whole. If boiling whole, extend the boiling time a little. If you want to store the compote for a longer time, increase the amount of sugar and store in a sterilized jar. The amount of sugar in this recipe is reduced, so enjoy as soon as possible. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -
Pear Compote in Jelly With Panna Cotta Pear Compote in Jelly With Panna Cotta
I wanted to enjoy eating some pears that were a bit lacking just as-is.I think you can use 200g of the syrup from the pear compote.Even pears that are not so sweet will become amazingly delicious when poached like this. The pear compote becomes really delicious when it's chilled in the syrup (the syrup becomes tastier too), so to make the jelly, use well chilled syrup that has been re-heated.
