Ingredients

  1. For gravy
  2. 1large tomato
  3. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1 tspredchillipowder
  6. 1 tspgaram masala
  7. 1 tbsptomato ketchup
  8. 2 tbspwater
  9. For paneer
  10. 2 tbspleftover rice
  11. 1overboiled and mashed potato
  12. 1 tbspcornflour
  13. 1 tbsprefined wheat flour
  14. 1 tspmilk powder(optional)
  15. 1/2 tspsalt
  16. 1/2 tspsugar
  17. 1/4 tspcooking soda
  18. 1 tbspmilk
  19. as requiredOil for greasing
  20. For Sabji
  21. 1 cupboiled peas
  22. 1 tbspoil
  23. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  24. as requiredCornflour slurry
  25. 1/2 tspasofedita

Cooking Instructions

    For paneer blend the rice and potatoes with milk ro form a thick paste. Then add flour and remaining ingredients, until fluffy, lastly add soda. Pour this mixture in a greased vessel amd steam for 10mts or until its not sticky

    When the paneer is ready, cool them and make pieces. I have shallow fried and kept aside

    For the gravy, blend tomato and spices to form a puree

  4. 4

    Now in a pan add oil, cumin seeds, asofedita, and the puree and cook till oil is separated

  5. 5

    Now add water, boiled peas, and cook for 5mts. Then add cornflour slurry and cook for 2mts so that gravy is thickened

  6. 6

    Lastly add fried paneer pieces amd cook for 1more minute. Sabji is ready to serve

    Serve with paratha or rice
