Gondhoraj lemon can be preserved in the form of pickle. It is easy and simple to prepare but takes time to become ready.

Rinse gondhoraj lemon thoroughly with water. Wipe out water with napkin. Cut slices lengthwise and then each slice into two pieces.

In a nonstick pan, add refined oil. When it becomes hot, add lemon slices. Add salt, sugar and chili powder. Cook for 4-5 minutes in low flame till the sugar melts. Switch off the burner and transfer into a glass bowl.

Keep the lemon slices under the sun for several days and then transfer into a glass bottle. It takes 2-3 months time to become ready as pickle.
