The gathering becomes even more special when there’s something unique on the menu, and if Manchurian is served, it’s a real treat! Steps
- 1
To make the Manchurian balls, first clean the cauliflower thoroughly and grate it into a large bowl.
Add the cornstarch and all-purpose flour, and mix well.
Add black pepper, red chili powder, salt, and ginger-garlic paste, and mix everything together thoroughly. - 2
If the mixture feels too thick, add a little water. Shape the mixture into small balls.
Heat oil in a deep pan or skillet and deep-fry the balls until golden brown. - 3
To make the Manchurian gravy, heat a pan or skillet over high heat.
Add 2-3 tablespoons oil and heat it. Once hot, add ginger and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes. As soon as the onions, ginger, and garlic are sautéed, add all the vegetables (carrot, onion, green onion tops, and green chilies) and sauté well. - 4
When the vegetables are cooked, add sugar, salt, soy sauce, and a little cornstarch dissolved in water.
After cooking for a short while, add water and let it simmer.
Once the gravy thickens, add the prepared Manchurian balls and cook well. Your Cauliflower Manchurian Gravy is ready. - 5
Garnish the hot and tasty Cauliflower Manchurian Gravy with some green onion tops and toasted white sesame seeds (this step is optional). Serve hot and enjoy with your family.
