I love this recipe for its simplicity. It's a traditional recipe of Maharashtra .
Steps

Take a pan. Add oil, once oil is hot, add mustard, Asafoetida and jeera. Add chopped onion and garlic.

Add chopped green chillies. Saute for sometime. Add red chilli powder, roasted coriander powder, turmeric and salt.

Mix it well. Continue to cook on low flame for sometime. Add besan. Mix it well. Continue to roast. Sprinkle some water. Cover it.

Mix it well. If only if needed sprinkle with some water. Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with Jowar Bhakhri.
Tips
Do not add too much water.
