My mother used to make teriyaki when I was a child, and it was one of my favorite dishes. Those memories inspired me to cook it myself (*^^*).

Steps
- 1
Start by cooking the chicken skin-side down. Place the 2 chicken thighs in a frying pan and cook on both sides.
- 2
If a lot of fat comes out, gently wipe it away with a paper towel.
- 3
Add all the seasonings to the frying pan, cover with a lid or aluminum foil, and cook on low heat.
- 4
Occasionally shake the pan or flip the chicken to coat both sides with the sauce.
- 5
When the sauce thickens, pierce the chicken with a skewer or fork. If the juices run clear, it's done. Cut into appropriate sizes and enjoy.

Fuwa-chan used honey instead of sugar, which they bought on their honeymoon in Spain, to make this dish. It's a lovely teriyaki chicken! I'm so happy they made it so deliciously (*^-^*). Thank you, Fuwa-chan! They enjoyed it with their husband. Thank you so much!
