Microwave Tamagoyaki-Style Sushi (with Storage Containers)
I tried making a tamagoyaki-style egg topping using a microwave-safe rice storage container and placed it on top of rice.
How this recipe came about:
When I used a container meant for freezing rice to make a tamagoyaki-style egg, it ended up the same shape as the rice, so I decided to put it on top.

1. Pack the cooked rice into one of the storage containers.

2. In the other container, add the egg, salt and pepper, sugar, mayonnaise, and furikake if using. Mix well.

3. Cover the container from step 2 with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 30 seconds.

4. Remove the container from the microwave, stir the mixture, cover again, and microwave for another 30 seconds. Remove from the microwave, take off the plastic wrap, and let it sit for a short time.

5. Place the cooked egg from step 4 on top of the rice from step 1.

Length: about 6 1/4 inches (16 cm)
Width: about 3 1/4 inches (8 cm)
Height: about 1 1/4 inches (3 cm)
Purchased at a dollar store.
