Ingredients

  • 500 gground beef
  • 2sausages sausage
  • 2medium onions, finely chopped
  • 4 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 2 cansdiced tomatoes, undrained (14-1/2 ounces each)
  • 2 canstomato paste (6 ounces each)
  • 1/4 cupwater
  • 1/8 cupsugar
  • 1/8 cupWorcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespooncanola oil
  • 1/8 cupminced fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoonminced fresh basil or 1 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1/2 tablespoonminced fresh oregano or ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoonrubbed sage
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/2 teaspoondried marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoonpepper
  • Hot cooked spaghetti

Steps

  1. 1

    In a Dutch oven, cook the beef, sausage, onions and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.

  2. 2

    Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in the tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, oil and seasonings

  3. 3

    Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Discard bay leaves. Serve with spaghetti.
