Ingredients

Makes 15-18 cookies, enough to fill one toaster oven tray.
  1. 1 cupall-purpose flour (about 120g)
  2. 1/4 cupbutter (about 60g)
  3. 1/3 cupbrown sugar ginger powder (about 40g)
  4. 1egg yolk
  5. 1 teaspoonwater

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the softened butter with the brown sugar ginger powder.

    Add the egg yolk and water, then mix in the all-purpose flour.

    Once combined, shape into a log, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or freeze until firm.

    Once chilled and firm, slice with a knife. This recipe makes 16 cookies.

    Bake in a toaster oven at 340°F (170°C) for about 10 minutes.
