I used the popular outdoor spice blend 'Horinishi' to give edamame a new twist.
Recipe background:
I wanted to create a quick appetizer for camping, so I gave this a try.
Steps

Rinse the edamame. Rub with 1 tablespoon salt (not listed in ingredients) while washing.

Add the sesame oil and rinsed edamame (leave some water on the pods for steaming) to a skillet.

Cover with a lid and cook over medium-high heat. Stir every minute.
- 4
After about 5 minutes, when the edamame is lightly charred, sprinkle Horinishi spice blend evenly over the pods 4–5 times and serve.
